I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Geography at the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill. My Ph.D. research focuses on the space of the station. I study the experience of cleaning workers in railway stations in India and the politics of cleanliness in relation to caste, gender, labor, waste, and space.
I work with Dr. Sara Smith, Professor, Department of Geography, UNC, Chapel Hill. Prior to joining the department, I worked in India with civil society organizations.
