My Ph.D. research focuses on the space of the station. I study the experience of cleaning workers in railway stations in India and the politics of cleanliness in relation to caste, gender, labor, waste, and space.

As a researcher, I have experience in conducting social-legal research on issues related to discrimination against women and CEDAW. I have also had the opportunity to undertake research on a range of issues, including the rights of persons with disabilities, and those of the indigenous communities.
